“I decided to join the FFA, because I’ve always really enjoyed being around animals.  I feel like the FFA is just a big club of animal lovers. I think the FFA will benefit me later on, because I want a career that’s involved in agriculture, and I think that the FFA is a great start. My favorite part of FFA is the people. We’re like one big family, and I’d trust them with anything. My least favorite part of FFA is having to manage my time, because it literally takes up 80% of my day. I barely have time to focus on school, work or anything else. I’ve raised rabbits for the past two years, and this year I’ve decided to raise a pig. It’s definitely not easy and it’s even harder transitioning from one animal to another. You have to put a lot of work into an animal to be successful. I’ve gotten used to the work, however. I think everyone gets along very well. Don’t get me wrong; being in FFA doesn’t make our problems go away.  Not everybody agrees with each other, but at the end of the day, we have each other’s backs, and I’m glad we’re as close as we are.”
