“My most bittersweet moment was when I moved from my home in Cali to out here in Texas. I consider this moment both tragic and good because even though I was forced to leave California, the place I grew up, I was able to move here and meet extraordinary people and take classes I never had the opportunity to take before. The longest I ever stayed somewhere was seven years, the shortest being two years. I moved because sometimes life throws obstacles in your path that only change can overcome. Moving caused obstacles including not being able to see the family I have known my whole life, getting used to the different ways of life and being somewhere new. I would do it all again though because of the benefits including meeting new people, taking new classes, and experiencing different people. That is what makes this move worth it.”
